N D Tiwari governor of andhra pradesh resigned for his post. After illegal sexual activities done at raj bhavan, tiwari was forced to went out of raj bhavan Hyderabad.
Raj Bhavan said President Pratibha Patil has accepted Tiwari's resignation and asked the Jharkhand governor to hold the additional charge. Tiwari faxed his resignation letter to the president saying he was quitting on health grounds. The central government is reportedly considering names of Sankaranayanan and former union home minister Shivraj Patil as governor of Andhra Pradesh.
