Nifty rose to an intra-week peak of 5,310 before launching in to a mild decline. The short-term trend in the index however continues to be positive and the key support to watch out for is 5,217.
Despite Sensex recording a 22-month high last week, the mood among market participants can be best described as indifferent, the longer sessions probably contributing to the boredom.
