Space Shuttle Endeavour heads to Florida space station for landing. It was blasted in to space with crew of six members on Feb’8 this year from home port Florida on biggest project of six nations with budget of a $100 billion, is nearly completed after more than a decade of construction 220 miles above Earth.
The U.S. space agency also announced last week that it plans to spend $75 million over the next five years for commercial suborbital spaceflights for science experiments and educational payloads.
